Salsa
Author: David LeMieux - 1 Jalapeno
- 1 Red Chili Pepper
- 1 Shallot
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1 Lime, juiced
- 1 Lemon, juiced
- 1 bundle Cilantro
- 2 cans dices tomatoes (or equivilant amount of roma tomatoes)
- In food processor blend Jalapeno, red chili pepper, shallot, garlic, lime juice, lemon juice until finely chopped
- Cut off stems of cilantro (almost up to where leaves begin) and blend in with pepper mix.
- Add 1 can tomatoes (or 2, if your food processor is big enough)
- Pour in to medium sized bowl.
- blend remaining can of tomato in food processor, then add to salsa in the bowl.
- Stir together, let sit. It can be eaten right away, but usually after 24 hours it is more completely blended.
